A rental dresser in 2017
Heroad started with a problem most renters know. The dresser was ugly, the lease said no paint, and we were not going to buy a new one. One roll of wood grain contact paper fixed it in an afternoon.
When we moved out, it came off in long strips and nobody could tell. That is the whole idea, and it is still the first thing we check on a new design: does it come off clean?

Our test wall
Every print we add goes up on a test wall first. One patch sits near a kettle, one in a small bathroom with a shower, one in a hallway that gets afternoon sun.
After a month we peel it off and look at the paint underneath. Prints that lift at the edges or leave marks do not make the range. It is slow, and it is why the range is 146 designs and not a thousand.
Who we are for
Renters, first of all. Then anyone who wants to try a bold wall without a weekend of paint, or give an old kitchen a new face for less than a new kitchen.
We are not for every wall. Freshly painted walls, deep texture and rooms full of steam are hard on any peel and stick paper, ours included, and our guides say so.
